Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam serves as the primary organizing body for the ITIs (Industrial Training Institutes) in Assam. Recently, they have issued an official notification concerning the admission process for various courses offered in the Government and Private ITIs of Assam for the session 2024-2025. Interested and eligible candidates of may be apply online for the admission in NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC, NCVT under IMC (NCVT & SCVT trades run by IMC in some ITIs) under Craftsman Training Scheme.

Eligibility Criteria of ITI Admission

Course wise eligibility criteria and other details under various ITI’s in Assam are given below.

The candidate’s age should not be less than 14 years as on 1st August 2024.

Assam ITI Admission Process 2024

The admission process in various ITI’s in Assam involves the following steps.

# After registration, all the candidates will have to report at their nearest Govt. ITI along with their all original documents, certificates etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars.

# Candidates should note that after successful verification, they may fill their choices of trades and ITIs according to their preference, to enable them to participate in the allotment process.

# Alloted candidates must take admission in their allotted seats otherwise their candidature will be considered cancelled

# The passed out candidates from NCVT trades will be issued NCVT certificates & from SCVT trades will be issued SCVT certificates

Counseling for ITI Admission

After registration, all the candidates will have to report at their nearest Govt. ITI along with their all original documents, certificates etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars. Next, the candidate has to fill his choices & save his choice within the stipulated time period as declared by the DE&CT Assam in counselling schedule.

After the choice filling is over, all filled choices of all registered candidates will be considered for allotment of seats as per merit (Rank) & category of the candidate. The allotment will be made against one seat & the allotment of seat is purely provisional

Application Fee for ITI Admission

Candidates have to pay a fixed amount as admission fee for admission in various ITIs in Assam. Here is the prescribed admission fee for the current academic year.

NCVT & SCVT Trades

# Tuition Fees (Rs.50/- per month): Rs.600/- (for 1 year) | Rs.1200/- (for two years)
# Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/-
# Registration Fees: Rs.25/-
# Medical Examination, Fees: Rs. 25/-
# Trainees Union Fees: For 1 year Rs.175/- & For 2 years Rs.350/-
# Hostel Service Charge: Rs.50/- (where applicable)
# Hostel Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/ (where applicable)

For BPL Candidates, the payment of Tuition fees is waived off, except SCVT under IMC courses.

SCVT under IMC Courses

# For Non Engineering course: Rs.15,000/- per year
# For Engineering course: Rs.16,500/- (for one year) & Rs.33,000/- (for two years)

• Click on the Online application form and complete the registration process by clicking “New Registration”.

• Fill in all the required details as per the given instructions.

• Once you have entered all the details, click on the “Submit Your Details” button.

• Next, log in using your Login ID and Password to proceed with the application process.

• Carefully review all the provided information on the application form before submitting it.

• Finally, click on the “Submit” button to complete the submission process.
