Eligibility Criteria of Assam LP & UP TET Recruitment

Age Limit:

A candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2023.

Medium of Instruction: Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school, wherein the candidate wishes to apply.

ATET/ CTET Qualification: The candidates who have passed the ATET/CTET for Lower Primary School will be eligible for applying

Education Qualification:

Assistant Teacher LP Qualification

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

Assistant Teacher UP Qualification

Graduate from the UGC recognized University and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) examination or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education)

Science Teacher for UP Qualification

B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) examination or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education)

Hindi Teacher for UP Qualification

Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from the UGC recognized University and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) examination or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education)

Pay Scale:

Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay other allowances as admissible under the Rules
