Eligibility Criteria of Assam Veterinary Recruitment
Age Limit:
A candidate should be less than 21 years and not more than 40 years as on 01 January 2023

Education Qualification:
Candidate must have passed HSSLC (Science) with Biology as a subject and also completed one year certificate course in Basic knowledge of Veterinary Science from recognized school of School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry established by Govt. Ghungur, Silchar, Assam.
Physical Standard:
Candidate for direct recruitment to the cadre of VFA shall be of sound health both mentally and physically and free from any organic defects or body infirmity likely to interfere with efficient performance of his duties and require to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service.
Pay Scale:
Pay Band of Rs. 14,000/- 49,000/ + Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.
Selection Process of Assam Veterinary Recruitment
Interview and selection criteria for Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) and allied posts will be as per the provisions of Assam Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Subordinate Services Rules.

# Interested candidates can apply for application in standard form as per Part IX of Assam Gazette in a self-addressed envelope stamped with Rs. 5.00 for communication. Duly filled application to Director, A.H. & Vety to be addressed. Dept., Assam, Chenikutty, Guwahati-781003 and should be submitted physically in the drop box or registered post at the Directorate.
# Applicants must attach 1 (one) copy of recent photograph on the space provided in the application form firmly with good quality glue/glue and attach another copy with the application. The photograph must have the candidate’s signature. AH and Directorate of Veterinary shall not be responsible for image distortion.
# Since the practice of furnishing attested copies of certificates/mark sheets etc. by competent authority has been discontinued by the Govt., the applicant shall furnish copies of certificate/mark sheet etc. declared by himself/herself as certified to be true copy of the original along with the application.
