Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School:

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks And 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) & Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary

Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary School:

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) Graduate from the UGC recognized University And 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever known) name OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education And Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School

Science Teacher for Upper Primary School:

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary(or its equivalent) B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University And 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever nameknown) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education And Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School

Hindi Teacher for Upper Primary School:

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from the UGC recognized University And 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever known) name OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education And Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

Eligibility Criteria of BTC Teacher Recruitment

Nationality:

An Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam is eligible for this recruitment.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s age should not be less than Minimum 18 years and not more than Maximum 40 years as on 1st January 2023.

Age Relaxation:

ATET/CTET Qualification: The candidates who have passed ATET/ CTET/ BTC TET for LP/UP will be eligible to apply.

Eligibility of TET: Candidates who have cleared ATET/ CTET/ BTC TET for Upper Primary School will be eligible to apply. Both ATET and CTET candidates have to match Language I or Language II with the medium of instruction of the school to which they wish to apply.

Notice: Small Family Rules A person having more than two surviving children from a single or multiple partners on or after 1st January 2021 will not be eligible for recruitment under the Government Policy on Small Family Policy.
