Goalpara Sainik School Admission 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official notification regarding All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE), 2024. As per the notification, NTA will conduct the Common Entrance Test for admission to various 33 Army Schools across India. AISSEE 2024 will be held to select meritorious students for admission to classes VI and IX. Students who wish to continue their studies in Sainik School must appear in this entrance test organized by the National Testing Agency. Eligibility Criteria of Goalpara Sainik School Admission 2024
# A candidate for admission to Class VI should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2024, i.e. born between 01 April 2012 and 31 March 2014 (both days inclusive) for admission in the academic year 2024-25.
# Sixth standard girls admission open.
Class IX
# A candidate for admission to class 9 should be between 13 to 15 years as on 31 March 2024, i.e. born between 01 April 2009 and 31 March 2011 (both days inclusive) for admission in the academic year 2024. 25.
# Admission open for girls for Class IX subject to availability of vacancies.
# At the time of admission he/she must have passed class VIII examination from a recognized school.
Qualifying Marks of AISSEE
A candidate is eligible for admission in Soldier School, if he/she secures a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the examination and 40% marks in aggregate in all subjects of AISSEE 2024. However, admission will be based on relative merit of the candidate (in AISSEE) eligibility of the candidate in his/her department in the school chosen by him/her, medical fitness and verification of required documents.
However, there is no minimum marks prescribed for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes. They will be admitted on the basis of inter-se merit in the entrance test within their respective departments, subject to verification of their eligibility requirements, medical fitness and necessary documents.
If a candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL) category falls in general merit by himself, he/she will be admitted against general seat and will not be adjusted with reserved section of SC/ST/OBC (NCL). ) seats.
