Eligibility Criteria of NFR Sports Quota Recruitment 2024

Education Qualification & Age Limit:

Candidates must have the following educational qualifications and be with in the prescribed age limit

Levels 5 or 4	Graduate or equivalent examination passed from recognised university/institution.	18 -25 years as on 01-July-2024
Levels 3 or 2	Passed Class 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a Govt. recognized Board/Council/Institution	18 -25 years as on 01-January-2024
Level 1	Passed Class 10th (matriculation) or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.	18 -25 years as on 01-January-2024

Note: (i) Educational qualification must be from a Govt. Recognized Board/ Council/Institutions etc. (Minimum educational qualification should be as applicable to the post offered for NTPC posts).
(ii) For appointment against sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum educational qualification is class 10th pass. However, the training period for such sports quota appointees will be 03 (three) years, unless they pass/ possess ITI qualification in the relevant trade, in which case it will be 6 months.
(iii) Proof of Age viz., HS/Matriculation certificate issued by a recognised board or equivalent must be produced / attached with the online application.
