Eligibility Criteria of UPSC Indian Forest Service Exam
Age Limit:
A candidate must have completed 21 years of age and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August, 2024 i.e., the candidate was born before 2nd August, 1992 and not after 1st August, 2003.
Age Relaxation:
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Education Qualification:
A candidate must have a bachelor’s degree Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, including at least one subject called Botany, in Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Forestry or Engineering shall be deemed to be a University under Section 3 of the University Grant established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature of India or other educational institution incorporated by any Act of the University. Commission Act, 1956, or possessing equivalent qualification.
